TWILLYWEED at The Mysterious Bookshop
A big thank you to everyone who came out to The Mysterious Bookshop last week to help launch Mary Anne Kelly’s
Twillyweed! The event was a huge success -- we sold out of all the copies on hand, and a good time was had by all.
The crowd began showing up at the store at about six p.m. -- thirty minutes before the official start time! -- and continued to pour in until just after eight o’clock. A little after seven, Kelly took the stage and read the staggering first paragraph of the book, then spoke a bit about the project and how it came to be published. She then circulated about the room and signed copies well into the night.
All told, we tore through ten bottles of wine, and the room was full of cheer and laughter. This wasn’t a crowd to be discouraged by a bit of rain, and attendees came from locales as far-flung as New Jersey, upstate New York, and even Long Island!
Though we are sold out for the time being, more paperback copies will be available shortly here at the bookshop. Meanwhile, eBook editions of Twillyweed are available through the MysteriousPress.com website and where ever books are sold -- grab one today to see what all the fuss is about.
