Adam Hall

Adam Hall/Elleston Trevor

Bio

Adam Hall was one of several pseudonyms used by British novelist, Trevor Dudley-Smith, (1920-1995) who later became known legally as Elleston Trevor, which was another of his pseudononymous names. Trevor worked in many genres but is best known for his series of Cold War thrillers featuring British secret agent Quiller.

The Quiller series focuses on a solitary, highly capable spy who works for a government bureau that "doesn't exist" and narrates his own adventures. Trevor was born in Bromley, Kent and lived in Spain and France before moving to the United States, where he took up residence in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and son.
